The political action forum was started on this board in order to have a section where people could calmly discuss the issues that we as people of this country and the world face today. Naturally, there are large discrepancies in opinion and because of the nature of the topics discussed here, these discrepancies can lead to quite emotionally charged arguments.
Everyone here needs to remember the old cliche "everyone is entitled to their own opinion." You may not like what someone else has to say and you may not agree with what they believe. However, it is not a requirement of these forums that every person must agree. When someone has a different opinion than yours, please respect the fact that they are allowed to disagree with you. To further extend on that, no matter how uninformed you may think someone's opinion is, you MUST refrain from making personal attacks when trying to point out the flaws in their logic. This IS a forum rule, and you may view the Buzzboard Guidelines here (http://www.buzzlife.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28945) to refresh your memory on our policies when dealing with personal attacks.
The bottom line is that this forum has gotten way out of control. I understand that the recent election and all the events leading up to election day has caused quite a stir not only in our small community, but across the globe in general. From here on in, please try and use a bit of tact and restraint when posting. While we encourage political debate, we do not allow moral and social harrassment. Your forum moderators and the board admins will be paying closer attention to the discussions in here for the time being, and I strongly suggest that you exercise a bit more restraint when posting or you may find yourself being excommunicated from our forums.
If you have any further questions, please PM me and I will be happy to help you out.
Thanks.
