I feel everyone should nominate and vote for me. I think it would be absolutely wild to have hardcore on NYE and even wilder for me to be playing it :woot:

i'm gonna be nice and give you a couple of suggestions.
#1 tell ppl more specifically what you are talking about in your thread. dont assume ppl know what you are talkign about
#2 make it easy for ppl to do what you are asking of them. provide a link or an email address and instructions for how someone would go about picking you.
#3 i don't know who you are, and i think its fair to assume many others here don't either (i could be wrong tho) if you are asking ppl to pick you then you should give them some info about you. maybe a link to a website or a mix would help do the trick. :yes:
#4 shut up.
ok, maybe that suggestion wasnt so nice. but whatever. i think i was helpful for the first three.

if they're offended by a joke made on a message board then they have some serious problems.
besides, its my right to throw my hat into the ring anyway. who gives a damn if you know me or not. if i've paid my "dues" or not. remeber you don't know me. and most of all, I didn't see anyone else stepping up

#1. Since there's a big thread about nominating djs for the NYE party at Cubik, I think most people would know what he's talking about. Then again, you never know with buzzboarders :P.
#2. Isn't it easy enough to go look in the thread about the NYE party at Cubik? It is on the main page forums page.
#3. Asking for information works well.
#4. You should take your own advice sometimes. :wink:

would i spin the NYE party, yes, and I'd bust my ass to get a hell of a set together for it.
did i expect anyone to take me seriously considering the way I posted the message? no but unfortunatly the few of you that took it seriously took it in a negative way.
i just thought some people might get a kick out of it and maybe reply with "no, vote for me! "
so people might actually start nominating some hard dance dj's; or at least get a discussion going. figured a good spirited post might bring out some other good spirited posts but it didn't work out that way.

Sure it is. but if you want someone to do something for you, the best thing to do is make it as easy as possible for them to peform the favor for you.
#3. Asking for information works well.
But giving it in the first place is much better.
