I really can't say that I like anything that has come out in the last month. But I am very happy that I got RIOT001 and SC013 in the mail recently.

Why didn't you post who did that track? In my Ali G voice ok I'll show ya! It's Madam Zu, Chris C, and Ben Kaye there a few of my fav's. That record is slammin and Vinyl Groover and the Red Head's remix of Zombie Nation isn't that bad either but I will allways love The Zuuuuuu!!!! and Chrissss!!!! of coarse. Good post Osis! Just got Jon Doe`s Sonic Expressions EP 2 (A Side DanceFloor & B Side 4-3-2-1) and I dropped last night @ Catatonic in VA Beach.......This is a hot ass track Guranteed to get people moving.... I perfer the A-side but the B-side has a Mike Skinner sample thats hot

It's been going around that BK may have done that track, it is a white label if I'm correct. I found that track to be sum ass but at least I wasn't the only 1. Alotta heads on the BT board thought that as well. But I think tracks like that are relatively allways going to go over well because there 1's people will know and shit. And I meen I havn't heard the whole track but as Schlitz said just the samples. If BK did do that track though, he was really thinking when he put it on a white. Cause like I said there's been alott of bad reviews on it. I will probably never play tracks like that unless I find them to be really pushing the envelope. They have to be dope!!! :bowasian:

after going a little crazy and getting 2 (yes! 2!) shipments of records this week, here's what cooked:

the recyclists--too hot--elasticman
although the original didn't do much for me, the ilogik remix is total nailz! doubly nice because i don't think ilogik has been his best of late--a nice return to form.

casper--paranoid--toolbox
casper just doesn't disappoint. the j nardi and j dwyer remix on the flip is pretty good as well.

james lawson--riot gear ep--riot
just really good, solid stuff which is hard to come by these days. james lawson in the past has not always done it for me, but this is really quite good.

V/A--gesichtsdisco ep--abstract records
four tracks of pure hard techno filth on one piece of vinyl! so hard i was curled up in the fetal position asking for my mommy! sven wittekind AND frank kvitta on one record???? unbelieveable! a definite two thumbs up! if i had a third thumb, that one would be up, too!

Anyways, nothing good has been coming out in the usually bountifull winter months, and I think everyone is a little more than upset about the lack of Hard Dance being released by the major names and label.

Here's an interesting track on BangingTunes today. Sounds like a nice mix of Hard House sounds and some killer breaks. Reminds me a lot of the B-side on RIOT001.

No mere sound clip can do that track justice. OD404's is a really slammin track. Heard it the other night all the way through and it was dope. I also think Tripoli is 1 of my favorite labels for part of last year and might be this year as well. Marc Johnson's takeover of it is a smashing success!

i think i will be having to agree with you there.. for the last 2 years i really honestly didnt like anything on tripoli. they are on fire tho and marc johnson is DOPE. if they can keep it up they will be on my shopping list at all times. but i dont like the hellfire mixes...any of them..outside of that i have picked up block party and emergency within a very close time proximity of each other and both are SMOKIN!!!!!! :jeffrey: :thumbsup:
