So, I got all inspired by my 'edm ancestry' this week and the result is this far from perfect demo that I literally threw together yesterday afternoon. This is my first release of a demo to the public, so it will probably label me forever as the aging hippie carrier of the old skool banner, but the truth is that most of my current mixes are a hodge-podge of breaks, house, proggy trance, and techno. In this case, however, you're treated to an 11-track mix of some of the best old skool hard core breaks, ragga jungle, and piano rave joints that are sure to bring back a memory or two...if you weren't born in the 80's... I just wanted to share with some of you nu skoolers what useta rock the wheels of steel before E, commercialism, and superstar DJs... Enjoy...

Track List:

01 Music Takes You (Remix) - Blame
02 Far Out - Sonz of a Loop Da Loop Era
03 Music's So Wonderful - Vibes & Wishdokta
04 Voodoo People - Prodigy
05 Renegade Snares (Remix) - Omni Trio
06 The Slammer - DJ Krome & Mr. Time
07 Let Me Be Your Fantasy - Baby D
08 In Effect (Slipmat Remix) - Red Alert & Mike Slammer
09 Searchin' for My Rizla - The Ratpack

Yeah, I've got a CD version of it cut into tracks, but I'd have to figure out a way to get it to you...maybe just some prewarning and meet & greet at Cubik one Friday...
