talk about stepping out of the light & into the dark (his old tunes compared to the stuff he's been putting out recently):

goldie played this on friday (and 'secret file'), hot DAMN these tunes know how to kill a system. the TSRC is extremely pleased w/the all the current metalheadz goodness floating about.

who knew he had it in him. his sound has deff changed for the better since he left good looking.

his breaks get better w/every tune. versatile as fuck, and always quality. 'secret file' is still ringing in my head loudly from friday.

i've taken notice of blame as well. last night i checked out "Judas" which I beliebve was released last month and i dug on it

oh don't get me wrong...i took notice of him a long time ago when he was putting out tunes on GLR & the like, but considering the stuff i actually play his tunes as of late are delicious.

You are all blasphemers! j/k :) Blame's Sigma EP is my favorite (released) thing he's done. But I agree that the stuff on Headz is all top shelf quality. The timpani in Secret File is like buttah. It hearkens back to "Bakura" on 720 (which itself was built upon ideas in "Tusken" off Blame's "Into the Void" LP) in that Star Wars/John Williams orchestral soundtrack type of way. But it goes one step beyond those older tracks by fusing that SW vibe with new school evil. Conrad Shafie is my favorite mad scientist. Now he just needs his former master Odyssey back to round out the Sith world takeover.
