Don't know if anyone has noticed that they are completely overhauled this site, but they did. As I rant, I'd have to say that I'm a little pissed that I wasn't given fair warning. I haven't been on the site for a week, but when I went on today I got this big message about the cange over and how my order would have to be manually transfered by 9/10... yeah, it's 9/11 today. A little email would have been nice.. :shrug:

On the downside, I have no idea what is happening to the money I spent for items I had on hold and hadn't sent. I really hope they credit my account. If they don't, I'm going to be pissed. Also, NONE of my back order records are even in the new site. :thumbsdown:

On the positive, you can now get a 20% discount on pre-orders... money. :D BUT, you have to pay for all items that go into your bag. Apparently, they don't like people abusing the pre-order function by removing items... :doh:

Anyways, just a heads up to those that don't know.

Yeah i know what you're going through... happened to me when i imported some wax from germany... took a month and a half to get to me when they told me 2 weeks.

Thanks for the heads up....I was considering ordering from BanginTunes. Are they reliable at all?

yes. very reliable. if you are a new buyer to their system, you'll love it. the problems that i'm refering to are from the change over from their old system to the new. basically they are starting from the ground up and scratching the old system, along with orders on hold. the new one won't allow this to happen, as you will have to pay for pre-orders upfront, with a nice discount too. if you have the money to sit on tracks that haven't been released yet, you'll be guaranteed to get them asap.

in all, i heavily recommend this site. :thumbsup:

the funny thing is that all the messages said that the old system would be done with on 9/10.... 9/12 I get an order update saying that one of my back order items came into stock... :confused:

Luckily they have sent all of the items they had in stock on my order and with a small break on shipping b/c the quantity was low.

The new site seems nice now, but it dosen't look like they have uploaded all of the old vinyl in their catalogue...
