yeah, i really liked the original a lot more, but that was at garage tempo, wasn't it?
Zinc is a Garage ruler... hit tunes are ridiculous. Currently working on a remix of MJ Cole's "Desperado"..... I also really dig some of the NYC speed garage stuff by Van Helden....
To hell with you all.... I am going to spin garage from now on.
Just kidding. :dunce:

they're pretty damn close to eachother...
but honestly? it's drum&bass, yo. there have been COUNTLESS tunes that rock the same bassline (to an extent)...shit, that's part of how i pick tunes in a mix. i look for tunes w/similar basslines.
i like 'mind killer' cuz it CRUNCHES. so crispity crunchity.

we need more innovation and less people saying "well its drum&bass, everyone steals ideas". yea hearsay is bad mmkay ;)

2004-09-08, 01:12 PM
i agree completely on being innovative. however i stay the hell away from hearsay until the source of what's being talked about can confirm ;)

i like all my tunes to sound the same. sometimes, i'll get two copies of a record, and then mix it together back and forth for an hour and a half. talk about innovative! you cant even tell when im mixing! the crowd goes nuts with sleepiness. its the best.
