I think this was done way back in the day. Back in the dayz of Buzz I believe the nights were broadcast on the radio. I would personally love to see this happen again :affection: be it by open air radio or internet radio.

Wow, it wasn't "way back in the day" - Buzz goes back to 1993, and HFS was doing "Trancemissions" i.e. live from Buzz just a couple years ago I thought, but yeah, was nice to listen to when you couldn't make it down.

It would also definately get the word out that Cubik is alive an kicking... I bet there are some people out there that don't realize it has reopened. Also, for Funshine and Buster, I imagine this would be a great avenue for promotion :D

That's awesome, errr, ill, I mean bitchin, what's the latest catch phrase the kids are using these days? Anyway, yeah, got to figure a revival of Trancemissions would be better than anything else HFS has on in that time slot....I also second the motion of webcasts, and downloadable MP3s with cue sheets would be nice also!

I haven't heard a 'straight from the horse's mouth' answer but from what I have gathered, on Ch. 80, either the previous weeks sets are played, or just previous random sets are played. I don't think it's a live broadcast at all :(

I agree. I think back when Buzz was on HFS it went a long way towards promoting the music. Too many people base what is cool by what they hear on the radio.

You guys can have all night on Destroyer.net if you want (break realted [dnb/breaks/hiphop/2step/etc])... that particular time is completely open. That is, if you were interested in online broadcasts at all.

Well, i dunno if Buzz would like that very much. Its kind of on the same level of reasoning as blackouts in NFL. There would need to be some restrictions. For instance. The broadcast would only occur if the club was at, uhm, 80% capacity. Or something like that. Otherwise people would not show up. Think about it. If you got a group of 5-10 people. Thats like $200. You can just have a Buzz party in the basement. Think of all you could get for that extra $200! wink, wink
