it is a little bit different, but I think some of the mixing is a lot better

I realize I never got back to this thread...
I really liked this mix. The matches slipped in a few places but the cool eq/xfade tricks more than made up for it and the track selection was choice.

finally got around to listening to this. awesome tracks. seriously good selection. the mixing was a little abrupt and off in places. i must admit, i like my techno mixed silky-smooth. i noticed the biggest problems with overlapping kick drums being really thumpy - not enough EQing, but this was only on a few of the mixes.
work on your techincal skills in that area (listening more carefully through your monitors maybe?), and i'm sure you'll see quick improvement. i'm sure you're gonna rock a room man, as your tracks are dope. :onethumb:

what he said... in almost all of the mixes the kick-drums are slightly off, to me it gets really annoying when a dj doesnt catch that. This is usually caused by the volume balance between the headphones and monitors. When you get that balance right, it will be very obvious that beats are off. Very nice track selection :)
