Unfortunately, I don't see that happening again anytime soon while the entire rave scene is going through this rebuilding phase.

Venue treasure hunt style, that way only the smart and still sober people will find it and there won't be any dumb-asses to deal with! - you can call it "Darwin's Most Wanted". WhOOOP!! plus, decorating for it is cheap & easy, and making up costumes for it is, too.

and if someone wanted to get really creative, you could hand out 'treasure maps' and have some sort of scavenger hunt w/a grand prize.


we did this for a house party earlier this year and it was a blast! we handed out name tags and ppl made up pirate names and wore them for the nite along w/their costumes...

Exactly what we did. :) I had pictures up until my hard drive crashed. We did it all in this guy's living room. Pudding + one of those inflatable kids bounce-around/moonwalk things. It said rated for 200 lbs, we load tested it to 450+80 in pudding. :)

that's kind of the fun part, it doesn't take too much, so it was easy for ppl to get into it.

i mean basically pirates chase booty and get drunk. this is gonna happen at the club regardless, so having a pirate party just makes it a little more fun.

for our house party, we made a big pirate flag, a treausre map and had a tub of jolly juice (it was jungle juice) and a treausre chest of gold coins and those chocolates that are shaped like liquor bottles and have a shot of liquor in them. we supplied paper pirate hats, eye patches and name tags. the rest was up to the guests! most ppl got into it, and came decked out w/a little something pirate-y, even if it was just too much eyeliner or a bandana.
