I agree, a buzzlife produced massive is something I'd make a point to check out. I <s>think</s> know they could do it right.

i think it would work. buzzlife has the kind of following already that would mean success in such an endeavor. all they need is a place and funding, and they could easily pull it off.

Are you suggesting Buzzlife throw something outdoor in the middle of a field?

*scoff*

I vote 17 thumbs down to that idea. They have been involved in many an HFStival with a Buzz tent. Also the Area ONE and Area TWO events, which sucked ass. Not because of Buzz, mind you, but still... the suck factor was high.

I don't see what's wrong with a venue that holds over 2000 people (Nation). It's RARELY packed enough to need to hold more people, and when it is you don't want to be there anyways (Tiesto, Oakenfold, etc.).

thing is... a massive brings many people from other regions in. book the right djs, and they will come. yes, nation is a venue that holds over 2000 people.... but look at some place like ft. armistead park.... well over 10000 people could fit in that place. and buzzlife could certainly fill it.... at the risk of pissing some people off, i would say that buzzlife as a company has a history of being consistently more popular than ultraworld. i mean... just look at starscape. ultraworld party.... what area was the most packed last year? the buzz tent.

Dear God. I could NOT imagine being there if there were almost 10,000 people there. I would end up on the news...

For murdering bitches!!

that's the most retarded logic ever.....
what area is packed every year? you could have had any set of prog, techno, house djs at starscape and have more people in that tent than any other.

The important point is ...

Buzzlife + Outdoor UberRave Massive = NO.

DC Armoury... when was the last time there was a party there??? That venue used to be used by Ultraworld and it drew crowds from like the eastern half of the united states with the djs they booked.

Dude... that place is a shithole. And it was a non-smoking venue so all you poor people who smoke wouldn't be able to smoke! DEAR GOD ANYTHING BUT THAT! *hack*

The last party there was in 2000, I believe. I wouldn't go back if you paid me. Wait, yes I would.

Money owns all!!

I went in 1999 for Engage and I don't remember it being non-smoking and even if it was I remember there was an outside area you could smoke in. :gotme: I actually heard rumors that Ultraworld was going to start throwing massives there again.

I for one would LOVE it if Buzz did more events outside of Nation. I think the space itself at Nation is great, and the party is awesome but I hardly ever go because I hate the staff and management. So umm... yeah I would be down for that.

They have done one in conjunction with Ultraworld at The Armory, and then also the old skool Sting parties may count.

*Edit* Opps, maybe I should have read the rest of the thread, haha.

HONEYDEW! joey is brilliant.

i remember waiting in line for an hour in the rain for honeydew 3... and right when i got close enough to the entrance.. a bouncer started shouting: "THIS IS THE LINE FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE TICKETS! THAT LINE IS FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T!" .. needless to say, i was in teh wrong line, and the other line (which was usually 21+) wrapped around the block and beyond. my friends and i were so pissed we just ended up leaving. i still have the flier though.

i was at radiate, and no, you aren't allowed to smoke in the building. people did anyway.... but you weren't supposed to, and bouncers would come around and harass people for smoking every once in a while.
