Any James Zabiela Fans?

on the new Zabiela mix cd "ALIVE" :) I Know it has break beats in it, and he mixes it up w/ a few other styles, pretty cool though...I enclosed the track listings (I'm interested in the Underworld mix...they have their own style kickin')

Zabiela's mix CD's are good, very eclectic and not the usual tracks you'd hear on the GU/etc series. that being said, his live sets are P H E N O M I N A L. mix CD's do not do him justice. just check out his essiential mix from this year. he typically works on 2 TT's, 2 CD's, and a host of samplers and FX processors. i cant fathom how his brain is able to wrap itself around everything that he has to do.

The only Miles I know is in Orlando from the Drop shop...DJ Myles High...I live in Daytona, few more months & I should be up in/around the DC area..

zabiela is the man-go to systmrecordings.com to order the cd for 17 bucks including shipping. also the cd is autographed and it comes with a poster. should be getting mine b4 the release date of the tenth.

i take that back-don't go to systemrecordings.com-never heard anything from them-no signed cd, poster, nada, zip. finally got the cd from amazon.com-amzing music, but terrible pressing/duplication by system recordings. disc 1 has one crack/pop. disc 2 there has two pops/skips. my mp3 d/l has better quality than this pressing. i've heard that other people are having the same problem throughout the country via GU message board, i might break down and get an official renaissance/european pressing rather than the shoddy one being passed down from systemrecordings. if jz only knew. it's hard enough getting zabiela cds here in baltimore, but to have a sub standard pressing is plain piss poor. if anybody needs the exact times of the noises hit me with a pm and i'll tell ya so you can check your discs out. i've gone on too far.

p.s. to the above-won't buy from/deal with systemrecordings no matter who the artist is. jz is still my fav dj.

yep, the mix is ace... thrilled my tune made it on there! the mixing is killer, and even the liner notes are great. love the varied track selection on these discs! definitely pick it up

I love Zabiela, but didn't care for ALiVE. His live sets are definitely where it's at.
