View Full Version : Push for DEEP HOUSE @ Nation...

Dear Buzzlife Crew,
This is a plea for Deep House music --which has been literally shut out-- to be brought back to Nation. There is a hunger out there for some soulful house djs to be booked (at least on a bi-monthly basis). Where is the love from Buzzcrew for a nice big venue for deep funky house music in the Nations Capital? You will get the people to represent with no questions. We, the house community, want a club that will support booking good house djs at Nation like you guys used back in the day. This is not too much to ask is it?
"IF YOU BUILD IT, HE WILL COME!"

prog house and deep house are 2 very different genres, one being much more melodic than the other.

Asking for deep house and getting Deep Dish is like asking for butter and getting margarine

Like regular olive oil, or that olive oil spread that is supposed to taste like butter?

Id say regular olive oil
Deep Dish is the furthest thing from Deep House
they are totally different animals

Now I want to go to one of those Italian resturants where they bring you fresh hot bread and put olive oil on your table.
Though I don't want to listen to Deep Dish.

no, evil hard tech-step is the furthest thing from deep house. I like how you capitolized deep house though dcfreak.
deep dish is pretty deep and a 4 on the floor beat, so i think the margarine comment is better; plus I like olive oil, and I don't like margarine.

olive oil owns.

especially extra virgin
who here knows what makes it classify as extra virgin?
cleophite

they're classified by acidity and the order of pressing. extra virgin has the least acidity; it can't exceed 1% free acidity/oleic acid in first pressing. its also supposed to have the perfect flavor, color and aroma.

well it's mostly because of the first pressing but you get a gold star for going above and beyond the call of duty.

I've been cooking a lot with soybean oil recently from Trader Joe's. It makes really lite tasting eggrolls. I guess that would be Downtempo or maybe Acid Jazz
