Hey everyone.
I'm buying some records from www.dancerecords.com and am trying
to meet a $50 minimum to get free shipping on my order.
So far my total is up to $41.95, but here at work, I can't listen
to the preview clips, so I don't know what else to get to make my total
over $50!
so can anyone recommend a good choice for me to pick up?
It's got to be from dancerecords.com, and it's gotta be something like
progressive house or trance. I prefer deeper, sometimes darker
trance.
here's the other records I'm getting so far:
Various Artists (Chiapet, Nic Fanciulli, 6400 Crew, Sophie Moleta, And Shmuel Flash), Remixes By Nic Fanciulli, Les, And Mercurio Limited Edition Yoshi-Pak
Juan Sanchez, Remix By Marky Star Phusion
Expressed Soul, Remixes By Luke Fair And Chris Fortier I'm Waiting
Chris Micali L'Evasion / Out There
Micah Featuring Jaidene Veda, Remixes By Blue Noise, Dalagelis Come On
thanks! :kapluto:

Marcelo Castelli, Remix By Rob Curtis - 'Montevideo' [Release Grooves]
$9.99
Deep Progressive House, Deep Dark Progressive Trance
I really like this one myself and it's not normally the kind of house I buy. If you buy it and don't like it I'll buy it off you haha.
Hope you like :)

I'll keep that one in mind tho.

yea, I wish I could listen to clips here at work, then I wouldn't have any problem.
it's just that I want to get my order in ASAP to make sure my records get
here by the end of the week. I won't be able to get somewhere that I can listen
to the audio clips until after work tonight, and I've already got a couple of things
to do after work anyway.
sooooooooooooo, I figured I'd ask.
obviosuly I wan't asking you.
you quite clearly have no taste anyway! :neener:

Steve Porter, Remix By Grayarea - Vodka Cranberries

Marcelo Castelli, Remix By Rob Curtis - 'Montevideo'

Steve Porter, Remix By Grayarea - 'Vodka Cranberries'
This is an awesome track (side B). It's progressive with a techy house feel and very hot! Love this one.
Matthew Dekay - 'Space Mountain Tablet EP'
Very groovy with an emotional melody. It's quite jungle. Deep and progressive definitely.
Hybrid, Remixes By Planet Funk And Grayarea - 'I'm Still Awake Part I'
I'm indifferent on this one. If the vocals featured more I think it could be better. However, side B does feature vocals better, but it's not the progressive, dark that you're looking for.
Matthew Dekay - 'Behind Closed Doors / God's Answer'
'Behind Closed Doors' is highly melodical, uplifting with a driving bass and a good beat. 'God's Answer' isn't so melodical but still posesses the driving beat and is less uplifting - quite dark.
Marcelo Castelli, Remix By Rob Curtis - 'Montevideo'
After listening to the suggestions this one isn't my favourite. It's good nonetheless! It's quite jungle orientated. You've heard this one already right?
I'm not good at reviews but hope that helps :)

I went with Matthew Dekay - Space Mountain Tablet EP
I was thinking about going with Steve Porter - Vodka Cranberries,
but since I already have the Homegrown Ep he did, and I don't
have any Matthew Dekay yet, I figured picking this one up would
be best.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen that I've got 3 that I like on that site and then (often a lil toasted vinyl shopping) I think that if I order 2 more I can one for free b/c of the free shipping and I end up buying shit I don't like in the end. :woowoo:

lol. that sucks.
in my case, I wasn't so worried about getting something I don't like
b/c I am a beginner.
so even if I get some tracks I don't like much, at least I have somes tunes to
practice with!

i have a small debate here.
my friend would trade me these
1. pulser - my religion
2. super8 - alba/dawn EP
3. andain - summer calling
4. 21st century fux – sunspirit
5. sasha - cloud cuckoo/ bloodlock
6. chab - my memory
7. stephane k – numb
for my PS2, 5 games, mem cards, controller... or i can sell this to someone else for 180$...
the thing thats holding me is that a few are kinda tough to get, but i could use 180$

you should make the trade. even though you might need the money, youll probably regret not getting the rekkids

I was gonna say go for the money.
then you could do something reasonable like spend half of the $180
on rekkids, and the other half towards rent bills, other expenses etc...
$90 can get you 7 records anyway... maybe not those exact ones,
but good ones nonetheless. :buzzboy:

ya true the money would be better prob. i could use it to get a few new records (sasha's invovler being one of them) and some will go to cubik since ill probably be going to the next 3 fridays... ow damn its gonna shrink real quick

I like the Micah track. I'm not gonna say it totally blows me away when I hear it,
but it was def a good pick up. the b-side and the second track on the a-side are
really nice. the 1st track on the a-side (the original version of the track) isn't really
anything special at all.
by far the dopest tracks I picked up in this lot were:
Paranoid Jack - The world Must Change
I wasn't even gonna pick this one up at first, but now I'm so glad that I did.
I love it. it's slow, but I so dig the bassline.
also
Expressed Soul, Remixes By Luke Fair And Chris Fortier I'm Waiting
after hearing the clip I had to pick this one up, and I'm quite pleased that i did.
both sides are very good, but I absolutely LOVE the Luke Fair remix.
it's just so awesome and has a bassline that really moves me.
it gets the official liftedtrance seal of approval big time.
(oh and for anyone that has heard the Luke Fair remix, I just want that
bassline to keep grooving at some point, he brings it in for 16 beats and then out
for 16 beats - at least towards the middle and end - and I just want it to keep
rocking all the way thru. but on the other hand, it coming in and out :tarvis:
does add a sort of anticipation that makes the song memorable to me so )
