yea, i worry when someone has been spinnign 7 yrs and say they did a sloppy
mix, but sloppy for you is probably pretty tight for a beginner.
it's all speculation tho, as I haven't heard you play out.

at any rate, we all have some "off-days", no matter what it is that we do
and how long we have been doing it.
