Wow. Anyway, last night was fantastic. I swear, I've never *not* had a good time at the DCDNB wednesday night party. Great turnout, tons of familiar faces, music was the bomb digs. Kirk and Brenden did an amazing job (picked up on the Culture Shock track right away, thanks Kirkus ;) ) and Hive was fucking awesome. Evey, Charly and I left there feeling like we had just immersed ourselves in a giant vat of sweat because of dancing so much. Such a good night.

I definitely owe big ups to Bassmachine and the ones like Yvonne + Bobby for hookin' it up last night. In a word, unbelievable - that was one hell of a dope-ass party. So many good tunes dropped - and every single set was different and heavy enough in their own way - Mason coming in strong w/ hard-hitting Philly dubs, and then Hive dropping all the new material coming out of the Violence camp as well as the HUGE bass-stabbing 'Krush,' - his first release set for Metalheadz UK. Lastly, Dara - damn! You know, I hadn't listened to one of his sets in a long time - and I was impressed last night...Completely different style - bangin' tunes, and I think @ some point I heard him drop 'The Odyssey' and just had the room goin' off - good stuff man ;)

My head still hurts and I'm pretty sure I'm going to need some aspirin soon for them aches + pains - lol - fuck it, it was well worth the night out.
