well, we've also have promoters that leave fliers there that have also been raving about the selection and prices for quite some time now. we so happened to have a day where we had time to drive up there, so we went for it. glad we stopped by. and speaking of patchouli, my UFOs smell like them. i could smell them through the bag from the backseat of my car. some potent stuff they got there!

I don't know what Patchouli is but I think I have smelled it before. When I go to smoke shops and some other places they always smell like that. The glass pieces I have bought until I used them a few times even smelled like the shit, if Patchouli is what was responsible for that smell. The bag I bought and even t-shirt smelled like it. Crazy stuff. It smells pretty good.

Karmic Connections is down in Fell's Point on Broadway. Just do a Google search and then mapquest it. It's pretty easy to find, although I took a wrong turn, parked in a garage downtown, and then walked for about 2 miles to actually get there when there were about 10 open spots right outside the store. Yeah, I did that, too. A good reason to try things on before you actually buy them. Of course, I thought I was getting all mediums and didn't realize that two of the pairs were girls. that's because we started wearing real clothing, not stuff that had to be contained to one night a week. it's just a costume for most people, and not the most flattering one...plus, it's just as easy to dance in normal-fitting pants as it is in gihugeous ones. when i realized all that, i got rid of mine. in fact, i packed away a pair in a 'posterity' box, so that eventually my kids can look at my photos albums, and then see the stuff i used to wear...and probably laugh at me. :yes:

(i actually found a leftover pair of big pants to wear to an 'old school' themed party last spring, and i'd like to say i felt like a total ass-tart walking to and from the party.)

but hey, if it would give people a chance to bust out some pants that bring back memories of old partying days (i totally felt that way, and it was very, very weird to be in my old b-girl pants. weird.), and to rock out harcore as a result of that vibe, then right on. could be a fun site, and the dancefloor would look pretty rave-y.

I don't remember cross colors, but I still wear my UFO's and I'm proud of it. Not everyone doesn't feel right wearing them. I'm a smoker (though hoping to change that) and need somewhere to put my cigarettes, which isn't happening in straight leg pants. And UFO's aren't tight and very comfortable for those of us larger than a size 7. And, they tie at the bottom so the funk of Nation doesn't ruin them. UFO wearers unite! :thewave:

i agree. i have several pairs of ufos...my boyfriend has a kick ass pair with knee pads in them so when he dances he doesnt bruise his knees.

i got most of them from karmic connections in baltimore. Its an awesome little head shop. yay. You can also find them online, but they are usually more expensive there...

I've been wearing semi syntheic pants sicne day 1. It's the only way to go. UFO's are super confortable and really nice to dance and move around in. Not to mention the huge pockets for fliers and other goodies.

The cool thing about UFO pants and some others is the 60-40 mix of cotton and polyester.
Its so comfortable and nice.
And UFOs are all draw string so you can fit them just right.
And they have cool pockets.
I have a pair of Caffiene pants with a small hidden pocket. Now those are cool.
