What happened to Soulseek?

I used to be able to find everything on Soulseek, the hits were infinite.
Now, my searches come up with scarce results. Have people shifted to
another p2p network or something? What is the deal? Im trying
to find some sick new livesets.

Man, it is still has full of all the electronic live sets I could ever want. Check "General Options" and make sure the "Listening Port" # is open on your router.
Even better is if you change it from the default port # and open that on your router for more security.

you probably just have some kind of firewall that prevents you from searching sometimes, that shit happens.

Don't use that craptastic 1.52 that you get from their "official download site"....while it is stable.....it doesnt support port forwarding or anything.......go to the soulseek forums.....the link is on the official site, under the technical issues section there are links to get the newest versions......get anything above 1.54......

i've been using 1.54 test 1 and haven't had any problems with it.........that's the one i've been recomending to people.

I had 1.51 and got 1.52 and getting better hits. Still not as good as back in the day though but good enough. I will try to get the later ones though. THanks!
