It's all in a big sack of tapes over at my parents' house. Maybe I'll grab it later today. You can't have it though. Being old school is not about sharing. This ain't winamp or kazaa or whatever suckas.

We old skooler's need to share the wealth and help people to know and understand how fuckin great thing's used to be in the scene. If I can help out by finding an old tape and making a copy, I consider it a privelage.

Yeah, that's true. At the same time, I think some of what makes things great is the energy and momentum of a time (this also exists today, although perhaps not as rugged). And that is not something that can be transfered.
Music definitely did sound different back then though. Everything had a breaky vibe to it it seemed. And even if you didn't like breaks, that overall tone made things more lose.
I quite like the lack of complaining on this board. My gosh. Back in the day, everyone complained about everything all the time. I like how appreciative the kids are today. Maybe they can teach the old-schoolers a thing or two.
The main thing that was better then was the mystery. Now, everyone knows everything, and I am not sure if it is possible to ever go back.

I'm glad the dude that wanted the tapes is getting them though. I was kidding about the not sharing thing. It was all about sharing--sharing the drama. ahahaha.

I feel ya man. Thing's used to be sooooooo much different. The music, the vibe, everything. That's not to say that I don't like the scene now, it's just that I came up in the scene when it was alot different.
And you're right, the mystery of everything then was so compelling and so new!
Alot of the time's I wish that I could go back to those days.
Getting older is inevitable, so I guess we should make the best of it now and have a good time while we still can!

Nothing beats how Scott builds his side up at the end & blows it up with that Crystal Method joint...I remember the first time I heard his side I freaked!!
Even Feelgood's side is amazing opening with a straight trance tune & slowly changing over into funky & latin house...ahhhh such a good mix!!!
