As for hardcore around here.. there isn't a whole lot. AC just played in baltimore a couple weeks ago though. So, it does happen once in a while.

If anybody is up for a road trip...there is going to be a hard core Techno party on July the 24th in Columbus Oh. It's called Technoleptik Realmz. Headliners are Frankie Bones, Heather Heart, Venom and D.C.'s own Simon from Buzz. The complete lineup is listed in the out of state parties on the buzzlife message board. Check it out.

This Guy I know is promoting some weekly parties in Baltimore. The First week was "Techno" with AC Slater, Tim Resinator, andsome other hard trance peeps. The Next party is a breaks party, and then a jungle night. Then It goed back to the "Techno" night. Hes had alot of trouble having the club owner accually let him book hardcore. So hopefully by fall it will be predominately hardcore

Yeah, that's what I thought you were talking about. I hadn't heard about any other hardcore djs booked since ac and tim, so that's why I was asking :). It would be nice to have more hardcore though. Unfortunately, a predominately hardcore weekly doesn't last long around the dc/baltimore area.

Seriously though...DC Needs a Regular Hardcore Party...Not every week...not every month, but like 5 solid Parties a year. Do like what Frolic has done in toronto...Hullabaloo is huge! The Goofellaz have made quite the name for themselves as well! its just all that Rave Act shit!

The support wasn't there, Jon Force and Skully stopped spinning and Double Y Chrome moved on to techno/progressive, plus my interest in hard dance is waning, although I do still like/play it. There were some other people who wanted to contribute to the site but never did. Basically, I was the only one left to run the site and I certainly couldn't uphold our vision on my own. There is also a ton of other situations that I've experienced with hard dance that influenced my decision, if you ever catch me with a spare half hour or so in a bar, I'll tell you all about it. So, it was a very difficult decision, but I chose to take the site down.

As Much As I don't like to hear that its so true! I got into hardcore back in 2000-2001, thought the scene might change, but no :( . What can you do? But still Freeform do promoters even consider booking it?

Jon Force quit spinning??? what.. this is an outrage. seriously he was probably the best i ever heard when it came to hard dance. I'm sorry to see him go. :crying: oh well life goes on; i guess.. It seems that hard dance is kinda disappearing.

well, erik/emoney/less than three is playing hardcore at a party on the 3rd. and ac slater and tim resistor both played hardcore a few weeks ago in baltimore, so a couple people are booking hardcore djs.

Hardcore is far from fading. There's regular hardcore parties in the UK. All we can do is hope it makes it's way to the states eventually. Either it will... or... I'll have to get rich so I can fly to parties in europe. :P
