well, while its kinda cliche to say.... our generation is the future goverment, so unless this music dies before then, it'll get accepted eventually

They may support it if it gets big enough for them to make significant money from it.
Look at Detroit. They built that Renaissance center 25 years ago and it was not the attraction they had hoped it would be. But now, they use it and the surrounding areas to bring in 1.5 million people every Memoria day using techno--one of the things their city is known for.
Maybe DC has more money than Detroit (not to mention security concerns) and would not go for something like this now. Maybe one day.

Baltimore is very different from DC. I love Baltimore. I put up with DC (go get drunk there once a year for old time's sake).

Sounds good............damn it's all FREEE to such great talent as-well. I wish they did something like that in DC. It's all good though.
