heads up for the 'heads!
the innerloop 2 year anniv. party is on JULY 31st at club five (yes, the week after farina and starscape. save some energy!)
lineup:
main room: raoul from swirl people/aroma (belgium), pat nice from deepfix (kansas city)
rooftop: allgood funk alliance (www.funkweapons.com) and christine moritz (innerloop text docta, check www.varietyisthespice.com)
i'm pretty excited about this as raoul is plain sick and pat is one of my top fave jocks! and the beats on the roof are sure to be sublime...local beatfreqs holding it down smooth and propa.
see ya there?

well, don't quote me on it, but that's what ken told me.
i would kinda hope so; no disrespect to taha--he's a great dj--but ken and juan's style would be a better fit to open for farina, i would think... i guess we'll see!

*crosses fingers*
I agree Ken and Juan would be a much better fit....talking to Tim about it when he first booked Farina I think he said Taha had dibs...but maybe Ken talked him into it....:)

When I was in San Francisco a few weeks ago, I got to catch Farina at a small club. I actually got to chill in the booth & noticed he played like 3 ECB tracks that night. He was expressing how much he loves their work over shots of tequilla... :-)
One thing I noticed different about him was the amount of bootlegs of popular songs he dropped in his set. It got the crowd moving for sure...but it was a surprise to me as a long time listener of his sets & cds...

he did this the last time he was at five too. the first time i'd seen him do this, and i've seen him dj almost 10 times. it sucked, i hope he doesn't do it on the 24th!
