Well im not sure if you have to buy all of them from there, just as long as they are in the catalouge. Its jsut another way to promote the store. I thought about that too, but but i shop there enough to have the minimum of 10. You will also be getting front page promotion for free for an entire month.

oh.. well that can be done.. that is.. having them in the catalog... was about to say..

though that does leave out those few tracks.. that i consider tracks to be "my sound" that i know for a fact that alot of stores dont have...

ill work a way around it .. :D

so I can't submit a mix if I didn't buy all the records from your store?

Its not my store but it seems so? not all of the tracks i submitted were purchased from there, about 7 were. However they were all in the catalouge. Course i also diddnt get the discount. I suggest emailing them if you are that worried about it.

when you think about it its not a bad deal. They have a good selection fast delivery and they hook up promos for orders over $50(i think) and you would be getting your mix on the front page for free for an entire month and the discounted records.

I think it's reasonable enough. It's a store's way of promoting not only itself, but the dj too.

It's like the Hooj contest, it had to be all Hooj records, no one complained about that....

Yeah, I don't think it's unreasonable for them to expect the tracks on your mix to be have been bought from them esp. if they're willing to offer a discount if you do get chosen.

oops, sorry for the confusion ori. btw, I don't have a problem w/ the idea of the tracks having only been bought from their store, it's just a bizarre stipulation that I had never heard of before. I guess if they have the time to verify when the tracks came out and if they've ever had it in stock, then more power to them :fudd:

The label did. They still sell records and digital downloads via their renamed City16 store.

Hi guys:

I was surfing on the net and found your website which I think is very cool. I listened to a mix on MP3 that you had as the mix of the month and I was completely delighted. It was great! I tried to search it on your lists, but it seemed to be not available. The title of the album is Submission_2 by ORI. Can I get it somewhere? I live in Guadalajara, Jalisco in Mexico, but if I can buy it on line I won´t hesitate to do so.

Hope to hear from you soon and thanks

Alvaro César
