Concerning the front room...

What's up with the lack of DnB in the front room? One of the things I always loved about coming to Nation was walking up the ramp and into the front room to find it chock full of jungle-y goodness. No disrespect to any of the non-DnB DJs who play the front room these days, but the front room and DnB go together like blowjobs and beer.

I don't like having to go to the Rubik room to hear the broken beats I want to hear. It's hot as fuck in there and lacks adequate dancing space. Drum and bass belongs in the front room... please bring it back.

I hate having to go up stairs where its all bright and hott and bump into ppl while im getting my jungle dance on. I always loved if I didn't like who was in the front room there was always some good dnb up front.

Need to prove to the liquor board that Cubik is not "the same old party." It's difficult to do that when you have dnb and breaks pounding away as soon as they walk in the door.

Yeah, I heard that too. People don't seem to understand that drum and bass soothes the soul, and I'm goddamn willing to bet that any of the 'problems' of the past weren't caused by junglists.

I must agree with this thread. I have said it before.. yes its cool to try things out and see how they work out but truthfully DNB does not belong in the rubik room. The whole rubik room is set up for electro/80's anyways... the front room is definitely set up for some hard beats of DNB/JUNGLE.. plus dj's have complained in the past about how the jumping up and down causes them to skip and so forth... but hello DNB/JUNGLE is all about stomping/jumping.. plus its does get way to crowded upstairs and way to hot to enjoy there sets...

please bring back dnb back to the front

I agree about there being more places for people to sit down. If your at Nations for 5 hours, chances are you may want to sit down at some point, it shouldn't be a luxury to find a seat.
