dieselboy in-store tower in rockville 5/18!

dieselboy's new double-cd set "The Dungeonmaster's Guide" drops next tuesday, may 18, and he'll be in rockville, maryland, for his kick-off cd-release event.

(he kicked off "the 6ixth session" and "projectHUMAN" at the tower in rockville, maryland, too! go figure! :)

if it goes as the past events did, dsl and messinian will probably play a half-hour set and then sign cds and posters and stuff. :) (last two kick-offs the new cd was available at a sweet discount. :)

I heard him in Philly a LONG time ago....like.....98.
But I would have to say that his best album is either "A Soldiers Story" or "System Upgrade".
"System Upgrade" BY FAR!! Not to downplay any other albums...but they just did not stand up to tha quality of System Upgrade Ju no?!

someone trashed him on dcraves (in '96?) after a set i'd heard that i thought was gorgeous

he defended his set *on* dcraves

i came out of lurking and posted an open letter to dieselboy saying dieselboy don't waste your time on someone who doesn't appreciate your music when there are so many of us who do!

he sent me an email saying 'thanks for speaking up for me.' =)

that's how our artist/fan relationship began. :)

over the years i've become more and more hardcore. :)

there is no other artist in the world whose music inspires me the way his sound does. i can't explain why, but i swear it's the truth.

Thats The Same Way I feel about 2 Other Artists......(Ed & Optical + Kurt CObain)
I know that I am going to get some backlash about that one (Kurt) but I don't care...the music that he made help me get through some tough times in my life and and I have spoken to Dave Grohl on MANY and occasion about the life and music during that time period. He's From THis Area you Know! ANYWHO.......Yeah Music is the answer to all your problems......Feel it and live it, and you will be on your way to happiness.

Thats Cool as shit.
All of my friends always get on me for listening to D&B ALL THE TIME. 24/7....then when i want to have some time to sit down and make a tune or 2...like a whole day behgind the screen and synths.....they say..."Why Don't you make some hip hop or somthing?"...CUZ I DON'T LIKE TO MAKE HIP HOP! I LIKE THE NASTY SOUNDS OF D&B! FACK OFF MATE!..........HOW COULD YOU NOT LIKE THIS MUSIC?????!
