Alright, well.. It's just a thought.
But we all love Paul Van Dyk, and if he ever gets booked that would be the one night that none of us will forget, there has been many trance requests, so here is mine.
Sounds somewhat hard, but it's not impossible. You know? Book PVD! :raveon:

OMFG PVD would so own.
One of the best events I have ever been to was way back in Dec 2001 at the D.C. Armory, PVD owned that night!!! What the heck was that event called? My brain is on slow mode like usual.
Also tore it up at Ultra 6 last month.

And your right, we would most likely see him at GLOW first. Those high NRG trance dj's are gonna be a hot commodity for GLOW.

Wait for Glow to reopen.. I'm not sure why these DJs are being requested for Cubik as there is very rarely any crossover between the two nights in terms of DJs. (Scott Henry, and... um...)

well, a lot of people are into PVD, I made a thread which voted some trance DJ's and out of which he won most of the votes. Hence the "we all love him", about his music of course.
other than that seeing PVD @ Cubik would be pretty phat if you ask me, just a thought like I said. I'm not sure about checking out GLOW, pretty much Cubik has been my top favorite club so far.
Seems like a pretty tough request, but I wonder if it's a possibility. If not, that's cool. Just a thought.

Why wouldn't Cubik book a trance dj? They have in the past - and they are booking the most contemporary trance artist in the coming months. Infected Mushroom on 5.14.04 and Astral Projection on 7.9.04. I'd rather hear anyone at Cubik then anywhere else.

hmm, how is this going from PVD to Paul Oakenfold? I have his Swordfish CD which I made threads and comments about him.
Back to the topic, there has been a lot of Trance DJ requests on here lately. Hence my request on PVD, looks like we got a ton of trance fans out here lately. Though some trance has shown up at Cubik, having PVD over could change the mood though, but I think that would be one night that many people would want to come to. :yes:

FUR reopens very soon and will have all sorts of trance acts including PvD.. those new tranceheads on buzzlife are usually glow fucks that bash (though that was only a few of them apparently) :shrug: i rather get more house at CuBIK... it always brings out the crowds.

Nah man, I'm digging Cubik more than anything, DnB is my top room to be @. House is great also, indeed. Well I ain't a GLOW man, so don't get me confused. I have never been there, so I have no opinion on that fact, I've read posts on a few of them who came on here bitching... totally useless, I don't see the point of it.
There's just been many, many trance requests lately. So I figured, why not? On a second thought, I'd love to see Squarepusher @ Cubik. Phat ass DnB! You can get back on topic about PVD though, there are those of us who can't argue about him coming over to Cubik, that would just be insane. But yeah, doubtful he may come around.

i dunno.. i just want deep house .. :greedy: i really don't even care about seeing any trance acts live anymore.. except the big euro djs that never come to the states.. someday i'll get to see Rank 1, Lange, or Kai Tracid... :( That's trance I'd wanna see bad.. oh and did I mention I'm pissed I missed Sander K!!!!! Book him!!! Though I've been listening to 2 of Armin's 2004 sets.. very nice, but he'll be also at FUR and well.. these djs are cool w/ the owner(s) there most likely and i don't know what rates they pay but i mean... we can get other awesome trance djs for less - even if we had an awesome turnout and made more than enough to pay the dj and make revenue.. it's all on what the buzz regulars wanna hear ya know?

It's not like you have to make a decision between Cubik and Glow. If Glow re-opens on the same night it was held on at Insomnia -- that is, Saturday night -- then you could easily go to both Cubik and Glow in the same weekend if the talent interests you. If Glow were on a Friday, I could see how this might be a problem.
