the last shock i had was when the bleachers disapeared and the balconies were added. that was a long time ago. the wherehouse feeling is fine, but, i dunno, is it time to brighten things up a little? some colorfull paint? dj booth back on the stage? glitter, curtains. retracktable open-air roof and wavepool in the parking lot?

it's spring, cubic's been rocking for several months now, and it's SpRiNg. change it up, have fun.

whatever changes and whatever the cost, the tiesto jokes must stay. but back to the mainroom - i ain't necessarily talkin' plury colors, just some color. you know, like totally way tasteful and stuff like that. i don't know what colors, i'm sure not an interior designer and i have never even owned a giant super-club. just tired of black in the good ol' mainroom.

yes, i know buzz promotes the friday. primacy ownes it all. but buzz did build nation into what it is. and, for all practical matters, cubic is for sure buzz. looks the same as it did, jeez, 5 years ago, and mostly the same 8 years ago. and that's where it started building. that's what got the venue it's funding. that and some concerts in-between the fridays.

It would be nice if there were step-type benches around the mainroom like there are in the front room. I don't expect anything to be done about "brightening up" the club since Buzzlife doesn't own it. I honestly like the warehousey feel.

Regarding opening the patio, can we wait until after the bugs leave for that? If we have those damned things flying around in the dark club, I WILL stay home.

I think we need to have more cubes. I liked the big cube they had hanging up in the main room instead of the disco ball. I'm pretty sure it died when it fell on Electra during her soundcheck. So instead of one big cube we should get lots of little cubes and hang them up all over the club, like the little bees they used to have.

i like how it is now, let's not add any obstacles to make the place or dance floor smaller. additions to the light show maybe? the warehouse feel is definately good though.. even if it's been the same all the way... but i wouldn't object to some changes - like colors/various cubes hanging from the ceiling or w/e.
