Can a separate forum subject be set up called "Looking for DJs"?
This just makes it easier to find new gigs amidst all the other posts out there. I often find that they are mixed in with other forum subjects.
You'd be doing all of us a HUGE favor if this was done.

There aren't really enough threads that have the subject of "we need DJ's" to necessitate an entire forum. Learn the search function, love the search function.
If you're not having much luck with getting gigs, I suggest running through all of the different party threads, getting contact info from that, and directly contacting the production crews for booking information. The info is here, you just have to look. Don't be lazy and expect it all to be handed to you :nono:

Last time I saw a fashion show at club or event was at Ultrafest when The Collective (Sasha/Digweed/Zabiela/Infusion) , more specifcally James Zabiela was spinning.
But I dont think Cubik needs a fashion show. Maybe places liek Dream, H20,etc.

I think this guy wanted to go on the VELVET website and accidently got on ours somehow fashion show, drink contests, theme nights?? it's sounds like Saturday night at good old Nation.

umm, have theme nights at Cubik, we would have drinking contests if possible, and it might as well be a fekkin' fashion show....
I see what they're asking in the first post, but the poll doesn't seem to really match the content. :shrug:

I know, I know, but have you been to Velvet, no I am not like that, I accidently went in there one night thinking it was a Friday becuase I slept a whole Friday in. And thats exaclty what Velvet is like, it is one crazy party. Not bad at all I actually had a good time.

The first and hopefully the last fashion show I caught or that actually caught me(I nearly busted my ass trippin over the runway. What the f::k is a runway doin' in a club?) was a waste of good dance space and music.
The models looked like starving children wearing what apeared to be fancy underoos.
Christ, if I ever see a fashion show for boy-like undies on little gurlz when excellent house music is playin it will be too soon.
