From the Picotto school or Hard Dance-- a twisted slice of funky techno with a mind twisting synth-line. Intense stuff... this one gets ***1/2 (out of 4)

meh it didn't do it for me. i'm not into the mario bros. sounding tracks. when it kicks back in it's not so bad, but when that beat isn't behind it, it's pretty weak.
it gets * out of 4 for effort

i'm not a big fan of hard dance anymore, but i DO like that track. the synth is pretty sweet, and i think de-cheeses the track a good bit

The DJ Isaac A-side is very techy, slow stomper.
The B-side original works the vocal a little more and has a trancey feel to it.

the a side i dug it.... i liked the deep hard bassline of it and yeah i liked the vocal too... if it was sped up quite a bit though it would be a good track to play out or put on a cd.... waaay too slow for my liking.
the b side had an interesting feel to it, it kicked in at about a B-, the a side was definitly the better track.

This is a sorta old record from back in summer/fall of '02.... but i stumbled back upon it while throwing on some tunes the other nite, and now it's stuck in my mind. b/c of this, it's my song/record of the day.
Artist: Jay B
A: Focus On The Beat (http://www.bangingtunes.com/mp3/bulletpltd11_A.mp3)
B: Flashback (http://www.bangingtunes.com/mp3/bulletpltd11_B.mp3)
Label: BULLETPROOF LIMITED
CAT: BULLETPLTD11
(Techy Hard House)
A-side: This is a great techy stomper, and the kind of track that you don't see being put out anymore. It's another record fitting my need for hard hitting beats and funky modulations. This one won't be forgotten again.
B-side: A little more mellow than the A, but still has some nice aspects. The grinding synths are wicked... and the track picks up a little more than the sample lets on after the l-e-n-g-t-h-y break. It's got some fuck to it too and could work well with a bunch of different sound styles.

Familiar names on a new label... :raveon:
BK & Ed Real - BK EP 1
Riot Recordings
RIOT 001
A: Insane
B: A Little Love
check it: http://www.juno.co.uk/IP/IF150855-01.htm
The A-side is a dark techno-influenced track with the typical sound of BK. I like the fact that they don't overwork the grinding synth... nice and steady.
The B-side is a step closer to the hard trance side. Can't tell from the short sample, but there's probably a nice breakdown just after it cuts out.
oh, and if this track dies, I will NOT be saddened: http://217.158.65.110/MP3/SF154647-01-01-01.mp3
