and I must say, I had one of the single best conversations I have ever had at an after party! It wasn't just crack heads etc...

overall, one of the best after-party experiences ever, thanks to everyone that made it great!

russell was the tall ass dude (i can say that, he was even taller than me!) with the junglist t-shirt who dropped records at eric's. he's got a gig this week at the autobar in baltimore (or is it towson) this week. i think he said the 22nd, but i'm not sure. i'd love to go up and see him if anyone wants to carpool. russell converted me to a junglist at eric's party and there's no going back.

Yeah, the Baltimore crew seemed pretty chill. Didn't really get a chance to meet many of them.  They all were congregating on the couch upstairs in the DJ room.

he brought his own reks.

I really wanted him to meet you all because i think he needs to get back in the scene. He doenst really know anyone around here. Supposedly his story is he DJ'd in DC years ago, then moved to LA for a while, then his fiance made him stop DJ'ing for like 2 years, then recently she ditched him. I didnt dig too deep into his reasons for quitting before, just glad to hear him going again. I think hes pretty good and needs to get some more exposure.

i remember overhearing him talking to his buddy about "their goals" and "Is it accomplished yet?"

one time he said something to me about some girl downstairs who was "really into me, was trying to get with me, i should go downstairs and find her right now" (there was no girl that fit this description) - he was just trying to get me away from the girls i was hanging out with (protecting)...lol

and this went on for hours. i guess maybe in his mind he was being "clever" - we would move our location and not 5 minutes later he was there, going on about it again. I was surprised more people didnt pick up on it. I know Jenn and crystal did eventually.

well the original plan was for mikro, who spins downtempo, to be there, but he backed out on me. i don't have shit on cd accessible upstairs (they're all in a 200 disk changer so I can't really get to them) which is why i was all scatterbrained and ineffective trying to put something on other than the 5 EDM disks I have.
