Platonic Snuggling

Does anyone else out there miss snuggling with friends?

I've noticed that once we hit a certain age the snuggling level goes down. I don't know if this is because of the developing idea of sexuality, or the act being confused as a display of wanting..I dunno.. :shrug: But I miss snuggling with people that I'm not screwing.. :sadblue: Anyone else miss these things of things or am I the only one not getting any snuggling? :puppydog:

You know I was just telling someone the other day (isn't it ALWAYZ the other day?) that when I first started going to Nation-type clubs, listening to EDM, and all the other stuff that goes with it, there was a lot more plutonic snuggeling (I didn't use that term of course) and to be blunt, hooking up.....but that was a different time, it was Miami, and things were, um.....stronger. In all seriousness, not that anyone was asking for it, I think personal contact should be reserved for someone close. There are a few friends I would curl up next to, but pretty much if I'm cuddling with someone in any way shape or form it means something. Not always something sexual, but something.

Even in relationships though, I usually have to be in the mood to be in physical contact with another person. It's just not really something I do. Er.. but then I guess that could change at any time.

I still have friend that I can roll up in a ball with on the couch to watch a movie. Generally they're REALLY close friends though...and generally this is avoided when I'm in a serious relationship to avoid 'drama'.
