London based Argentinian Hernan Cattaneo is the latest DJ to record a mix for Renaissance's Masters Series.

The double CD mix has been given a February worldwide release date and will feature new material from the likes of Danny Howells, Luke Chable, Matthew Dekay and Stef Vrolijk as well as Hernan's new track 'Behind the Music and his remix of 'Morgan Page - All I Know' and finishes sweetly with the Wrecked Angle (aka Steve Gerrard) remix of the classic 'Age of Love'.

From its birth back in 2000, the Masters series has highlighted some of the world's finest DJ talent such as Deep Dish, Sander Kleinenberg, Nick Warren and Danny Howells, a fact which Hernan is well aware of, "I've always been a big fan of the Renaissance CDs, from those early Sasha and Digweed mixes through to the likes of Danny Howells, Deep Dish and, most recently, Sander Kleinenberg. It feels really good to be part of that now." On the the album, Hernan says, "My mix will be a reflection of the music I play, which includes a little bit of everything, from house to techno to breaks, featuring producers from as far afield as Germany, Greece and Argentina (naturally!)."

Hernan had always been one of South America's biggest DJs, but his real break came when 'Clubland', the weekly Saturday at Pacha, Buenos Aries, became recognized as one of, if not the world's best club. Hernan suddenly found himself playing alongside the likes of Sasha, Tenaglia, Deep Dish and Oakenfold.

Hernan is currently on a tour of Asia with dates in China, Japan and Singapore, before heading back to South America for New Years Eve. The promotional Renaissance Masters tour starts on Thursday 22nd January in the US.

Hernan Cattaneo Renaissance Master is released Monday 9th February.
