audigy plat 2 sound card : $175
No THATS a good deal since this sound card goes for like $500

Why is this card that much? You can buy this card brand new for $450 and less. Not to mention your card is used.

TA 120g Hard Drive : $150
ATA 120g Hard Drive : $150
http://www.sell.com/2LJ95
Found these online for $88 per hard drive..and they cost $150 brand new at best buy..are the HD's your selling new or used? If used they should notsell for new prices, esp cus hard drives wear out after enough use.
These hard drives
2 hard drives (30g) : $75
depending on the brand and type , thats a good deal.

well thats important to mention, that you are selling new items.
My advice to you is sell them on ebay, youll get market value for them.

ebays listing fees are tiny for the service of listing your goods to millions of people worldwide
c23chaos
2004-01-07, 02:16 PM
but the main problem is you have to have the money up front for the listing fees.. ;-) something i dont have.. hence the reason im selling all this stuff.. i needs me some money.. :D
Just Charlie
2004-01-07, 02:19 PM
You need like 20 cents to list an item on ebay.
c23chaos
2004-01-07, 02:32 PM
ok.. you have 20 cents i can borrow.. :D
Just Charlie
2004-01-07, 02:37 PM
yeah, look for a quarter i dropped at the corner of P & 21st in DC. It's around there somewhere. Keep the extra 5 cents for yourself, don't spend it all in one place.

2004-01-07, 03:16 PM
do you think i'm retarded? you have the 2 30's listed at $75 on the previous page and you're offering them to me now for $100?
i was talking about the 2 120's, together.
c23chaos
2004-01-07, 03:22 PM

you don't have to be a smart ass... he's just trying to sell shit online. if he doesn't want to list it on e-bay, that's his choice. maybe he doesn't want to have to pay to sell, when he can list them elsewhere for free? perhaps he also though he could sell them quicker by not having to auction them off?
I agree he should have listed that some/all items are new... but he did say OBO- so don't bitch, make the man an offer if you want something.
it's not rocket science.

hypersensitive? if you try to sell used items for more than what they cost new, expect to get a response on a public forum. ebay is better for the seller trying to get more for his items than they're worth.

I'm not being hypersensitve... just pointing out some facts. I really don't care, but since he's my friend- I'm gonna stick up for him when you guys are being silly.
bottom line is- if you want something and you don't like the price, haggle. I don't know where he got his prices from... he probably should have looked around more, but what he quoted wasn't set in stone.

the ebay listing fees arent charged right off the bat, only after item sells
