View Full Version : Found stuff...
Hey everybody. I found some interesting stuff in my car last night when I went out there. Apparently someone unlocked my car, dropped some stuff in my back seat mistakenly, then relocked the car and took off.
If any of you think that you might have misplaced some things in the back of my car (2 door Dodge Shadow) and you can identify the items, please email me, and I'll figure out some way to get them back to you. Thanks.
(I've heard of cars getting broken into to steal things, but actually having stuff put in a car is new to me.) :afterbuzz:

wait a second, your car was locked, they were able to unlock it to put these items in it w/o having your keys? Obviously they didn't slim-jim it to put things into it
According to the cop that I asked about what to do with the stuff, my car only has about 12 different locks, so somehow someone just happened to have the same key and they were very seriously fucked up to mistake my car for theirs.

or they met someone in the club and were like "can I put my shit in your car?" and their friend gave them the car keys and said, "yeah, it's the green nova on 1/2 st." and they used the key and it worked and so they put their stuff in there.
sounds fun tho.:raveon:

seriously, i used to drive a chevy nova, and one day in the dark i mistook an old nissan sentra for my car. i stuck my key in the lock, it fit, and i turned it. there was an unusual amount of resistance, but i didn't really think anything of it when the lock popped open. then i looked inside and realized it wasn't my car. lol.

I have other peoples stuff in my car too from this past weekend. A leather jacket, a backpack and CD's. The girl whose CD's it is returned to New York so now I will have some new music to listen to until she comes back down.

That's hysterical....the rearranging of the furniture, not the robbery.

hmmmm weird things are happening... That is crazy that someone left their things in your car....
:breakdance:
Ok, I'm guessing at this point that it's probably not someone from Buzz who is missing stuff or someone definitely would've come forward. I definitely feel bad for the dude who lost his stuff, but the cops don't seem to want to deal with it...
And as to making the world a better place, it just kinda gives me a good feeling...also keeps the karma flowing, or so I hope.

After what I just went through (see thread in rants/raves) I just want to say people like you RAWK again :smooch:
Heh.. someone got into my car once when it was parked outside my apartment and left a jacket, a personal organizer, and a wallet with 26 bucks and no id.
It was pretty sweet.

I'm not sure if I want people from my neighborhood to leave things in my car. It's hard to say what kind of trouble they would get me in.

thats fucked up though if there is only 12 different locks for your car. so you have a 1 in 12 chance of breaking into another car of that type. my ignition key is my door key also. *hoping that this dont pertain to Z24's*
so what was the "stuff"?

hahahahahhaha thats funny!
people are so silly
Well I obviously can't say what the "stuff" was because then someone would come back to me and say that it's theirs, blah blah blah. Let's just say that all told it's worth over 500 bucks...nice "stuff." I still feel bad for whoever lost it, but I'm not going to complain.

At least you tried to return whatever it was. A lot of people would just keep it and carry on.

Wow that is strange, I hope whomever left stuff in your car realizes....the fuck up. can you imagine leaving stuff in a car and then coming to YOUR car and not having the stuff you though you put in it...total twilight zone!
