because a large majority of them do suck. accept it and move on. people put too much of an emphasis on finding a mate. be happy with yourself and your current situation and the rest will fall in place in its own time.

I have tried to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I have found that to be futile. I still feel most people are inherently good. But as we get older we become more selective and less accepting of little differences that we deem as "sucking". I have found myself in this state of mind often.

I know for a fact , that's probably because every relationship that I've ever been in has gone sour and I always end up getting kicked to the curb. So I told the last girl that broke up with me that it was because of what she did to me that has made me make my decision to stay out of relationships altogether. And if any girl has any interest in me I'll just turn them away .

You know, I often have this problem. And I find it's cause I'm massivly intollerant to other peoples short-comings....
So, as a result of recognizing this in myself, I usually try and just smile, nod, and laugh. Then try and forget about it. People will eventually come around that are worth chilling with. Quality people are sometimes hard to find, but boy do they rock when you DO find them!

I dunno mamajen...since I've been meeting people on this board and then in real life (if that's what you can call it), I've hooked up with some really great people. And by hooked up, I mean got together with, not knocking boots. Although I did get to kiss a beautiful woman sat night/sun morning, but that's not what I've ben looking for, it just happened. NO that's not the case at all. all she would have ad to do was take her car down to the allstate center and have them give her a check for the damage...i did that before when the idiot backed into me at sheetz. they just look at your car and give you an estimate sheet with everytihing that needs to be fixed checked off. takes 10 min.
