LOST IN TEXAS

Ok if everything goes MY WAY then I should be moving back to the area in May or sometime before the mid summer. I lived in northern VA before moving to Dallas and I'm going to be moving to Baltimore. I'm not that familiar with the B-more area and was wondering if anyone could give me any hints on what areas are safest (just bought a new car) and what not to live in without raping me of money.
THANKS!:raveon:

Are you looking to live in the city or just in the metro-area?

this is a pretty good general guide about everything and everything in Baltimore geared for Hopkins students but I'm sure someone else can find it useful.

and one of its subsection gives an introduction to some of the neighborhoods
