"for their continued efforts in being the biggest shit-hole in DC! Wow you guys are doing a great job! Not since Buzz, Not since Code, Not even since Scion have I witnessed such a lack of respect for human safety as I did last night. Where the fuck was security? Obviously not doing their jobs.
When you've got a big name DJ such as Bad Boy Bill common sense would tell you to put a bouncer up front near the DJ booth. Last year when I saw him at BUZZ they had a bouncer up front the enire time. WTF happpened last night? Which brings me to my point.
For most of the night I was up front with my friend and other people enjoying Bad Boy Bill's set, which was off the hook-but thats a given, he could do no wrong. All of a sudden towards the end of his set these idiots come pushing their way up towards the front. What kind of a man are you to go pushing around girls that are much smaller than you? Do you honestly think that Bad Boy Bill would rather see a bunch of dudes up front over a bunch of girls? Maybe Boy George or DJ Dan but not him, you fucking koonies! One of the guys got totally out of hand and started pushing this girl in front of us. She pushed him back. At that point I went up to the guy that was "guarding" the entrance to the booth and room behind it. First off, why the hell would you place some scrawny as looking kid to guard that entrance? I could have knocked him out and ran back there, and molested Bad Boy Bill if I had wanted to! Second of all wtf kind of response to a situation is this: I tell him that there are a bunch of guys up front pushing up on a girl. The guy shrugs his shoulders and says, "Well, when there are a lot of people here, stuff like that happens." Okay, so there are a lot of people at Nation so its okay to get pushed around and harrassed by guys twice your size. How fucking comforting! I tell him that whats happening up front is fucked up.
Instead of going back up front I continue to stand off to the side of the booth with my friend. The "security guy" comes up to me and asks if I can see the guys from where we're standing. WTF is that supposed to do? Is he going to stare at them and magically remove them from the front? Do your fucking job and call for back up if you can't handle it yourself.
After that we left and reported it yet again to someone up front. All the girl could do was give me some bullshit excuse that they were sorry and that they had a lot of new people on staff (obviously those lacking brain cells!) However, the night wasn't a total nightmare. Bad Boy Bill represented Chi-town and House music to the fullest.
At the end of the night all I can hope for is that he gets the majority of my $20 because Nation doesn't deserve a dime. To the guys that were total pricks up in the front, show some fucking respect for the people around you! To the idiots pouring drinks from the upper levels, grow the fuck up! And if you've got a glow stick that is leaking throw that shit away! Don't continue to spew the liquid on the people around you. There was an idiot towards the back of the stage with a leaking glowstick. So I go up to him and tell him to stop dancing with it because the liquid was spreading everywhere. He says, "I dont care!" So I say, "Well I do cuz you're getting it all over me!" Then I wiped the liquid off my jacket and wiped it all over his shirt. WTF is wrong with people?
If theres one thing I've learned from last night is that I've got too much class to go to a place like Nation. Thank you for that wonderful realization. And also thank you for leaving a huge puddle of water in front of the bar for people to have to jump over. Thank you for having such clean floors, my white pumas are covered in crud. What you're Insomnia now? LOL. Thank you but NO thanks.
