Is it just me or is the world as a whole getting stupid? My job has me on the phone all day long and you wont believe the asinine questions that I get asked. I can't understand why people cant use their god given common sense.

Sometimes I wish I was on the phone more at my job. At least then, I could hang up when the person on the phone was finished being stupid. Instead, I deal with the morons in my office every day. When I am on the phone with someone, I often have to ask them to repeat what they've said because a girl in my office thinks it's ok to scream at the top of her lungs at people. And the girl next to me thinks it's a good idea to use big words to make herself sound smarter.. though she doesn't seem to know what they mean so she's always using the wrong words. heh. Or, my boss who's always yelling at her daughter across the office, telling her to "shut up dumb bitch!"

Ohhhh here's another. We have marble floors in our building and they roll out carpet when it rains or snows. It leads from the doors to the elevator, to the entrance to our suite, to anywhere you need to go. HOWEVER, some dumbass people decide to not use this carpet and slip and fall each and every time without fail. We have glass doors and get to watch and laugh... it makes for great entertainment.

I was outside enjoying my cigg. and watching the 'smokers station' (you know the waist high butt depository thingies) as it actually smokes, heavily. so this girl comes running out from inside with a plastic garbage bag and dumps the smoldering pile of butts and ashes into it. She the proceeds to hit the bag with a brick in an attempt to put out the fire that is festering inside. It wasnt until her supervisor came out to tell her to get some water that she finally ceased the sensless beating and scurried inside to fetch a bucket of water to douse the flames... :slap:
