Has your car ever been broken into? Was your stereo stolen?
As you may have heard, badkitty's cd player was stolen from her jeep on Thanksgiving. Being as it is the holidays, maybe some of us can help her out, in the holiday spirit of course. I am willing to offer her a stock CD player from my car but she still needs some help with $ to fix the damage that was caused to her jeep when it was stolen. I think that there should be a paypal account set up in her name so we can all help out, even if its just a dollar or two. I know nothing about paypal really so I'll need someones help on this one. But if you happen to have a wire harness or other stereo accessories that you are not using, consider giving them to badkitty to help her recover from this unfortunate incident. Apparently she needs a new dash as well and the controls for her heating and A/C. If you can help please do. I'm sure it will make he holiday a little bit brighter!!!

I love teh badkitty... I'll do what I can.
I think with the paypal account, you have to link it to an actual bank account...

Too amazingly sweet guys. Seriously.
I can't do the pay pal thing though, that's just too much to ask.
Sweetest thing ever though, you guys just restored some of my faith in society :smooch:

The jeep is my responsibility, not everyone else's. I'm picking up hella-overtime hours and a few bartending shifts at my restaraunt to make of the difference in $$.
:smooch:
Spend that extra dollar or two on yourself :D

uhhh ok well here's the story...
just spent 350 on my car to get the alternator replaced due to the fact that i started experiencing some weird, serious electrical problems with the car..... get the car back today only to find that it's functioning worse than before, and that the problem is probably the computer, not the alternator. so i'm looking at another 350 or so for diagnostics + repairs....
the big problem is that i don't have another 350. and i need the car to get to work to make another 350. so i'm SOL. send me money.

There are lots of homeless people and kids who won't get any toys for xmas this year, they are the ones who deserve some of your holiday cheer.
When I was a yung'in my family was dirt poor..and I remember benefitting one year from a srot of toys for tots program. I wrote down what i wanted..and all I wanted was a sketch pad, some colored pencils and water color paint so I could draw..and on christmas I got all that plus a remote control car.
This was extra special to me because at the time I was a Jehova's Witness and did not celebrate xmas. In fact, at age 24 (I turn 25 in march) I have only celebrated 3 xmas my entire life.
My mom bent a lot of rules to allow me to get that present. And to this day I feel it really changed the course of my life, from brain-dead bible thumper to well-adjusted misfit :)
So really, if you have some giving in you, donate to a kid. Buy a unwrapped toy from the discount bin at KB TOYS and drop it off at your local charity. It really really makes a difference.

Where was your car broken into? Don't worry no one is stealing badkittys thunder, i already cited like 10 other people who also got broken into at Nation.

I think I'm one of the only people who's car got vandalized at Sonar...never at nation. *knock on wood*
though I almost got attacked by a bum walking to my car on M street all alone on friday.
I am gonna start sucking it up and paying to park in the lot.
