CüBIK BBB Reviews?????

A really great night. I for one had a fucking blast, even though i was working. I especially liked the crowd response when the dancers were giving a superb performance on stage. Steve Smooth, BBB & Illusion put on a bangin show. I didnt get to much of a chance to get into the front room, but when i did, DnB was goin. Now for some R&R and then Turkey and beer at the rave cave.

my rant for the evening goes as follows:
i dont mind the party kids, i dont mind the people who drink, but when you drink or you do whatever, do not act like a dumbass. i kno i had at least 4 drinks spilled on me tonight, not due to me bumping into them mind you, i was the one standing still. also the people who just stood on the dancefloor or would wander aimlessly through it, it's a dance floor, you dance. of course i kno people will walk around looking for someone, that i dont care i do it too, everyone does it. tonight there jus seemed to be a bit craziness everywhere. that's my only real rant for the night. buzzlife crew did a blast! smooth's set was awesome,BBB's set was definitely on point- he had EVERYONE going, and ben's set was nothin but energy. the night was an absolute blast! not too mention the DnB room was always an awesome dance time!

I went in expecting the worst, and getting the best. And the rest of the night's DJ's were also off the hook. Great night all around.....spectacular music, met some new people, talked to some old, and danced my ass off.

I don't say this that often, but bad boy bill was off the "heezy"! I was really glad to hear him laydown some real bassy tech house... it just sounds so good in a club like Nation.

This was my first time back to buzz in a few years, and I must say although BBB was great, DJ Illusion stole the show. That was one of the best performances I've ever seen at Nation (out of the 92342452342 times I partied there, back in the day).

This was my first time back at Buzz in over two years, and I had an awesome time. My lil' sis was in town for thanksgiving, and was complaining about the gino clubs of Boston, so I decided to try and show her a good house club. We got there around 1:45am, so we only caught the last five tracks from BBB- but you could tell he was rockin it.

Didn't like Illusion, so we made our way to the jungle room, and hung out there for most of the night. I think I turned my sister into a junglist. She's now addicted. :raveon:

I had the best time!!! I was the happiest person on earth with the cheesiest smile. The vibe was amazing! I havent had that much fun at buzz since opening night. and I definately havent danced that hard in a month, i was hurting later on. Steve Smooth had a great opening and really got the crowd stirred for Bad Boy Bill. BBB had some really nice tracks. Surprised me a little. Ill-lusion was also very hyper and bumping! Mad props to all! House music rocks!!!! all i got is love and respect!

There couldn't have been a better place for starting the weekend! Believe it or not, I had to work on Friday. I couldn't wait for Cubik! By the time I got there, Bad Boy Bill was about to take the decks...he was tight! I didn't stay in the main room for too long...it was mad packed! It was great having Spiggums and Empath back at the Rubik Room! What else? I got my fix of Depeche Mode and some synthpop...I was happy! Last but not least...it was great hearing iLLusion in the main room! I felt the Benergy...I went crazy! Hands down the sickest set of the weekend! I only wish that I stayed till the end...felt a little tired.

Friday night was one of the best nights I have EVER had at Nations....and I've gone A LOT so......for me to say it was one of the best nights really does mean something

BBB was awesome, as expected. I danced non-stop and had a blast. I was really feeling the music. I can't rememer the last time I danced so much....for some reason for several months I just couldn't get myself to dance at parties. It's amazing what good house music does to me though ;)

And just when I thought I couldn't dance anymore, DJ ILLusion came on and my god man.......you are my new favorite DJ......SERIOUSLY!!!!!!! You tore shit up. I figured after BBB I'd just walk around and socialize cause I'd be done with dancing but no way was I able to stand still during your set I ended up straining/pulling muscles in BOTH my calves (in fact they are still killing me) but it was WELL WORTH IT. I was extremely impressed with your entire set!!! You rock :raveon:

I was loving the fact that the ENTIRE night of music in the main room was just perfect for my tastes. Perfect!

Oh yeah and those of you who danced on the stage during BBB were awesome. When I heard there would be a live dance act during the set I figured it was a group Buzzlife hired to perform or whatever. But then I realized everyone on that stage were people I've seen at Buzz/Cubik and who I've always had to stop and watch for a bit cause you guys are all awesome dancers.

It's gonna take A LOT to top my evening on Friday at Cubik. hehe

We both tried to find a way to buy your CD, and some girl (nation staff I believe) told us that they probably were selling them up front in the d&b room. All we could find up there were john tab CDs.

I must admit the Prodigy "firestarter" remix was one of the highlights of your set for me. Also, the mix of "don't call me baby" and "the raver song" is a classic that I was glad to hear again.

Overall, it was one of the rare nights that we couldn't leave the dance floor even if we wanted to because the music moved us so well :thumbsup: :banana: :banana:
