Just read that Tim Burton is going to do the remake. Might be pretty interesting. Those umpa loompas creeped me out in the original.

I agree... Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes was a reimagining that never needed to be done... and in the end, should not have been done. However, since they are doing it, I'm glad they got Johnny Depp in the lead.
