I was seeing security at every corner, Red shirts everywhere, i felt as though the feds were just waiting to bust the door down.

I'm thinking on account of Oakenfold on Wednesday a lot of people took off this week... plus figure a lot of kids are doing the travel thing Friday night/Saturday morning so they were not able to come out... it was easily the lightest Cubik attendance, but I think next week will MORE than make up for it...

Sorry about that, I think most people judging by the responses thought the same as you did.

I really shoud've used "Bright" in the topic instead.

maybe its those huge cheesy Bud Light and Budweiser neon signs they have hanging upstairs beside the chillout lounge.....man those things suck. i remember thinking how great buzz was back in the day b/c you could hardly see the person next to you unless you caught their face in a strobe. too much light is right!

yes, but more light helps lessen the chances of encountering "coyote ugly" in the morning ;)

If you're not doing anything wrong...there's no reason to worry about security

fo real tho...

I've only ever had one run in with security at Nation and, well, I was way too drunk, so I could understand them throwing me out... and all the same, they were completely cool the entire time! But then, I know enough to be polite in that situation ;)

I fucking hate the D.C. sercurity team
harassing people getting in their/my face

I have never had a problem with them...nor do I know someone that has.

Someone on this board drank WAY too much, he was getting sick in the bathroom...which is grounds to be kicked out of a club. They were very polite with him, he was polite with them. They gave him time to clean him self up and get it together.

I've only heard of circumstances like this.

If you're not doing anything wrong, you shouldn't have a problem.

I love Cubik, I'm glad if they're being hard asses about it. I want it to stick around this time around.

Its their job to be hard-asses, after what happened with the last buzz event at nations, its not hard to figure out why they might be a little more cautious with this go around

Yeah it should be regulated but sometimes people get harrased because of others
