Official Infusion/Adegen Review

ummmm.... OMFG!!!!!! That some SICK shit! I got SEVERELY OWNED! Infusion rocked my fuckin world. The dude that opened before them, I am guessing was Adegen just ripped shit and a half... the Rubik room was kickin it hardcore.. I EVEN liked the DnB stuff I was hearing and I really don't like DnB... This was just one of those nights where the music was just out of this world. Reminds of Howells@Arc in July for his CD release party.

The people were friendly and chill. Saw some great dancing, and a lot of smiling faces.

Oh and the guy that had those kickass pics. of that chick with her ass and boobs out in the open.... PROPS!

This is why I go to Buzz... For nights like these!

IMO.. Twisted Individual sucked ass, big time. To me the set was just incredibly monotonous, and boring. I did really enjoy the last 2/3 of the opening set though.:yes::raveon:

Last nite was my dream lineup. Travis, always one of my favorites, tore the roof off. His tracks were new, innovative and slammin. Our taste in breaks is virutally identical. A quality set as always...

Infusion was such a treat, first time I've got to catch them. One of those cant stop dancing sets, kept building and building, all the while breaking it down propa like!

I'm mad impressed, that was the most quality breakbeat night I've seen in ages.

I was literally physically ill and wanting to go home, but when Infusion came on I danced anyway. Couldn't help it. I was seriously unhappy about being locked in the DnB room for 4 hours though, the music was starting to put me to sleep.

Had it not been for Infusion rocking my world, I would have hada really shitty night.

I'd say the same thing but for Infusion as well...

I wasn't very impressed but then again lately, I'm kind of hard to please.

I did dance a lot though so, they must not have sucked too bad!

Oh yeah and I enjoyed Adegen though :raveon: I thought I was too tired to dance by the time Infusion was done (I also thought it was closing time cause everyone started leaving when Infusion announced they were done) but then I heard music again and I was like wooooohoooooo and started dancing :raveon:

travis had an awesome opening set (:raveon: for the crystal method track), and infusion seriously ripped it up. i haven't danced that hard and for that long in a long time. couldn't stop. loved every fucking minute of it. and they played all new (to me at least) tracks.

I think the problem with Infusion was they had a big breakdown before they ended their set strong. Peeps need to remember that it is a Live PA so there is an artistic aspect that one needs to enjoy vs. a Dj spinning records purely for the sake of rocking the dancefloor. (not that Dj's don't bring an artistic aspect into their sets its just differenct)

I personally thought Infusion was fantastic. But maybe its because Electric Skychurch and Nu NRG were so bad. The best Live PA I have seen was by this German dude spinning Goa and rocking out on a guitar.

I'd also like to add that this was the first night at Buzz (in my long history) that I didn't spend most/all of my night on the DnB floor.
The main room/upstairs (rubik) was just fabulous!

Between Travis downstairs and Simon, up- I danced the entire night.

I must admit, I only figured it out(and even than with not certanty) the next day after i looked at my high-res pictures. On the web, it's hard to tell. But if you look at all 4 hi-res pics of that group, you kind of see the pattern and some details that give you a pause....

I had a blast at Cubik last Friday...never mind that I didn't make it till past 1! Blame it on a crazy b-day dinner at a German restaurant! I caught part of Infusion's set...they rocked! It was the best PA set I've heard at Cubik! As for the Rubik Room, Simon tore it up! Too bad there weren't more people! I would've hated it missing out on Cubik...it was a great night!
