So anyone on here with a legal background who can help launch a class action suit against Mrs. Seuss (I believe it's his widow who's responsible for all of this craziness) for the damage she's inflicting on the fond childhood memories some of us have involving Dr. Seuss?
First Seussical... then the god awful mess that was Jim Carrey's "Grinch" and now this! I hate to think of what's going to be exploited, bastardized and generally ruined next!
I know I can't be the only one upset about this!
(and yeah, I know... I take movies way too seriously...)

We saw it @ the movies & waited for it to come out. I totally loved it. I actually even cried at times! It was really funny.
For once......... it was my idea to watch it again & again------ not his. (Doesn't happen often!)
I've been waiting for Brother Bear to come out since I saw the previews at Finding Nemo! Looks really good.

I'm with you. I refuse to take my kids to see that crap. I'd rather read the book to them...they are both 4 and SCARED of this crazy looking cat in the hat! They keep telling me that's not the real one...

don't support this movie.
there wasn't any dr suess crap being sold in stores or movies made of his books (with exception to some animated works like The Lorax) before his death because he was against it.
now that he's dead his widow is cashing in, as if she needed the money. :nixo:
