I have an old Anthony Acid cd. like really old.

They probably got pushed out of the way by glamazon dj's. (Is anyone else seeing a parallel here b/t the supermodels of the 90's and super dj's?)

yea...and hopefully it will follow the same path and the super dj will be demoted as more homegrown, dj-around-the-corner types become increasingly more popular again.

Has anyone ever heard the Michael Meachem CD called Trancending Life? I had a copy of this cd from a bar as a promo and I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone help?

my sister worked with that kid chris in orlando during college. they threw a lot of parties together there (icon, roxy, blue room, zinc, etc.) and most of them were charity events to raise money for the make a wish foundation and such. i do believe he is in NYC these days.

good question.

anthony acid got lost in the dj skribble world of mdma mix cds, and that was the last i heard of him. thas too bad, haha is one of the coolest dance tunes ever i thought.

john debo went from bad ass breaks to trance to who knows what.

the rest i have no idea.

my friend dates him, he doesn't spin anymore i don't think, but he's ultra-rich for some reason. and i agree w/ leiven the dancefloor, i was never impressed. sorry to offend anyone who liked his style ;)

Last time I saw BaggaDoughnuts was back in 02 in Roanoke, VA.

Whatever happened to Brad Smith, or Spice from Friction and Spice?

Kitty Kat

friction and spice had it! i loved their style.

i think there's just too much fresh talent and competition is stiff. i know that's why i stopped. i still love it and will always have a passion for it and i get behind the decks once in a bue moon, but female dj's are popping up all over the place. i got frustrated b/c i wanted to be a novelty especially in my hometown, but no one in b-more really appreciated pro-house at the time i was playing out. but now it's no biggie to see a chick behind the decks.

Baggadonuts is still living in VA, i had em out for one
of my parties back in 04, he's a super nice guy. Way
taller than i remembered too.
