In Trouble for Downloading copyrighted material

Does anyone know if people are getting in trouble with the law for this type of behavior. If so, what kind of files were they d/l, how were they doing it, and how much.

Well that depends on a lot of factors, like the nature of the material that you're downloading, and what you're using it for.

If it's being used for any sort of economic gain, then be prepared to suffer the consequences.
