Who here reads their horoscopes?
I don't. I find them crypic, and they make absolutely NO sence at all.
But I couldn't help flipping through that section in a couple of free papers today, and read what it has to say for "Cancer", which is my "zodiac", and seeing just how crypic it is to me.

when its sitting out in the open.. yeah ill read it
im very into the traits of different zodiac signs though, and like how compatible they are as people (not just relationships) to eachother

the point is that they are criptic so that they can fit almost any situation that you are in... I am a 'new age' type person and i dont even believe in horoscopes... You can take that for what it is worth
sorry i've been :chug: tonight...

i def believe that like the energies you're born under effect who you become. but most of the horoscopes we find in such things as magazines are bunk. the people that write those are getting paid for being good at vagueness. a real study, however, i would believe.

Horoscopes tend to be extremely vague as we all know and could be interpreted in so many different ways. I think they are fun to read though, and gives you a little food for thought.
As for astrology (I think my name says a little) but there are some attributes which do tend to follow certain signs, perhaps randomply, perhaps not. But it is a hell of a lot of fun to open one of those big books some time and see what you are "supposed" to be like. Sometimes they seem frightfully accurate.
Don't horoscopes come with a discaimler, that says For entertainment only?

my horoscopes are usually very accurate. i'm like the poster child for cancers all over the world. you couldn't find a better description of me.

I follow astrology...
But I don't take it to heart.
The 'personality descriptions' that you can find for Libra/Scorpios...Fit me to a t.
But I won't pay attention to a silly horoscope that the newpaper published. Most likely the just have a monkey trained to throw darts at a board of 'possible horoscopes' for each sign.

i think all of you people are freaks.
:jk: when i'm bored, but it's also way more fun to try to learn tarot so you can laugh at the inaccuracies in movies. oh! or you can just watch 'hackers' and laugh at all the "high tech computer talk" written by people who use their cd rom drive for a cup holder.

I don't believe in horoscopes, but I do believe that whoever rights the horoscopes for the post is a Howard Dean fan (it was his birthday yesterday):

IF NOVEMBER 17 IS YOUR BIRTHDAY . . . you're serious and responsible, with success coming through hard work and dedication. Your chart reveals a strong medical bent [he's a doctor]; whether surgeon, bone specialist or chiropractor, you excel in your field. This year brings unusual travel and pleasure[campaigning for president]. There's love and money in February and March[primaries and fundraisers]. Sign contracts in July [democratic convention]. Curb your sweet tooth. [he loves krispy kremes]
do you have a life size poster behind your bathroom door? :dan:

i don't read my horoscopes on a daily basis, but I think the definitions they have for each sign are pretty right on. At least for aquarius.

I thought I was the only one that used the word "cryptic". I know exactly what you mean.
