Rancid b4 Tall Paul @ Nation

Me and a few freinds are going early to Nation this Friday to see Rancid, possibly the best punk band around, and then are going to stick around to see Tall Paul drop some of his hard beats. It's gonna be a long night of great music all under one roof. Who's in?

the last time i saw them was on my 16th birthday when they played with the distillers and afi (before they started putting on makeup). anyhoo it was a pretty good show. maybe i'll check 'em out, for old times sake.

rancid is annoying...dirty little punk rockers pee u....but another reason for cubik-ites to get to the club early for that open bar and good parking!!! WOOHOO!

i used to listen to alot of ska/punk when i was growing up on Strong Island....it used to be good....but most punks don't realize that it's the latest craze to shower and keep yourself clean.

I had a bunch of friends that were into ska/punk when I was at NOVA and I became exposed to it... loved it and still do. I'm not huge into Rancid but would def like to go on Friday. If I have enough time to get ready before the show I'll most def be there.

Anyone know what time this starts and if tix are still available? I'm sure I could check myself but I'm *that* lazy :)

i do remember loving the distillers several years ago, but i loved rancid just as much. i'm sure the distillers or any other punk band are just as dirty as rancid. even if you dont like them, you gotta have some kinda respect for them. or at least i do. :shrug:

i LOVE agnostic Front honey I grew uip in NY i only moved to this area 7 years ago after some serious issues that were ongoing needed to be NIXED so i moved here from NY...I grew up in the NYHC scene those are my brothers in arms...alweays there for me no matter WHAT so when they come here to play I make an appearance...like the 19th is oakenfold? duh no work for me...im gonna go see BAD BRAINS at the 930club instead because they are DC!
