a couple friends saw wink and said he was alright. i am not negating his musical genius, but the people i know who went said they have seen him MUCH better before.

I saw him at Five last winter and he had us all going apeshit LOL.

I remember one thing in particular. He played Nelly's Hot In Here song (technoish mix) and James (uberclktgr) and I are going nuts dancing. I turn and go...

"do you realize what we're dancing too?"

It was great... and Wink's a really cool guy too. I got to talk to him for a bit that night and he was VERY social and really nice. He took his time talking to people and hanging out that was awsome.

Honestly, I skipped Wink because I'd never seen Crystal Method live, and I wanted to check out Imri as well. Had I know what an up and down night it was gonna be, I probably would have stayed with going to Wink.
