so boyfriend and i had been driving about 30 minutes (a 2-hr drive) on our way to nation and then i had to say something stupid. i made a mean remark about his favorite genre, which is hip-hop. we ended up being so bummed after the argument that we didn't feel like partying. it was a bummer. EDITED
needless to say, we're fine now:smooch:
so that's why i was MIA for buzz's birthday party

I don't get why people let things like a silly argument get in the way of a fun night. Just walking in and hearing that bass can make me feel good...even if it's just temporary release. Turning around is just :lame:I remember this one time....I was with Shawn B., it was his first time going to Vision. Well, on the way he got pulled over for an illegal turn off of U St., He was in the worst mood after that. Well...he's going on about how he just is going to have the worst night...:yap: Well, he walks in, hears the bass...instant :D. Didn't see him stop dancing the whole night.

i usually realize i'm just being a twit and appologize and say let's move on. i like to argue and most of the time it's over stupid things. the problems occur, when stupid things escalate. so i try to nip that ish in the bud before it ever gets that way. i'm pretty easy going for the most part. but when i'm really mad look out!

Why did he get upset with you just because you said you didn't like his taste in music? That's seems like a pretty lame thing for you guys to have to argue about. Music has to do with one's individual taste and you can't really argue someone into liking what you do or vice versa. You can learn to appreciate different genres but that doesn't mean you'll always end up liking them.
